From Isolation to Industry Disruption : My Clean Beauty Revolution

From Isolation to Industry Disruption : My Clean Beauty Revolution

The Problem

My journey into clean beauty and home products wasn't born from a passing interest -it was a matter of survival. With severe allergies that triggered both topical and olfactory reactions, I found myself navigating an increasingly toxic world. Everyday essentials -lotions, candles, face wash, body wash, even a simple doorknob touched by someone with wheat on their hands became potential threats. The realization that common ingredients like soy, corn, oats, barley, and wheat are deeply embedded in everything, even skincare and home fragrance, I felt like the world wasn't built for people like me.

Finding truly safe products became an exhausting scavenger hunt. Labels were misleading, "clean" products weren't actually clean, and the wellness industry seemed more interested in profit margins than people's well-being.

The Low Point

The breaking point came when I purchased a candle that was marketed as made with beeswax and coconut wax -the safe alternative I was desperately searching for. But within moments of burning it, I felt similar symptoms -headache, brain fog, nausea. Confused and frustrated, I started digging deeper and discovered an unsettling truth: companies are not legally required to disclose all ingredients in candles, it is just highly recommended.

What I thought was a sage, non-toxic product was, in reality, filled with undisclosed soy and paraffin blends. That moment shattered any remaining trust I had in mainstream "clean beauty" and "clean fragrance" marketing.

I realized I wasn't just avoiding allergens - I was battling an industry that thrived on half-truths and hidden toxins.

The Turning Point

Instead of giving up, I decided to take matters into my own hands. After a few failed attempts with local craft store beeswax and supplies, I found a local beekeeper on Facebook Marketplace and started experimenting.

My first attempts weren't perfect but the beeswax was so rich, richer than anything I found inside a store, and I knew raw materials would be more challenging but the difference was undeniable.

I quickly realized if I struggled this much to find safe, high-quality products, how many other people feel just as frustrated, just as exhausted, just as alone?

This might have been the beginning of a business -not just a product line, but as a mission.

The Result

What started with candles evolved into a full skincare and home essentials line - each product meticulously crafted, free from hidden toxins, and rooted in radical transparency.

No misleading labels, no outrageous markups, no compromises on ethics. Every ingredient listed, with luxury quality at fair and accessible prices. Clean beauty should be about people, not profits.

People come to our retail location or send in messages asking questions, looking for alternatives and now our products are trusted as alternatives to chemical-laden mainstream products. This is when I realized I wasn't just surviving in a world that wasn't considering people like me -active change was happening.

The Ripple Effect

Today our products aren't just sitting on shelves, they are actively sparking conversations, shifting mindsets and creating a movement.

We are educating consumers, exposing industry-wide greenwashing, and showing people how to find better options. People aren't just shopping our products either, they are learning to read labels, asking better questions and holding brands to higher standards.

I think we are proving you don't need deceptive marketing, luxury pricing or mass production. You just need integrity, a deep understanding and the courage to do things differently.

It isn't just a business -it is a purpose

And the ripple effect? We are just getting started.
